Chess Mondays in Artane

Following a decision made by the members at the EGM the Committee have
booked Artane Recreational Centre for the following Monday nights:
JUNE    24TH
JULY     1ST
JULY      8TH
JULY     15TH
We recommend all members come and play chess on at least one night.
The club will be open from 7.30pm.
The search for a new premises continues .
Hopefully, we will settle on a venue for next season by the end of August.

An Oige Closing – New Club Premises?

Sadly An Oige informed us that they are closing the Dublin premises in mid-July. So we have to source alternative premises at quite short notice.

So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions could they let one of the Committee (Bernard, Breandán, Brendan, Mick, Conor, Tom Paddy or Peter)  know and we shall investigate and hopefully we can find a suitable place asap.

Ennis Shield Result 2.5-3.5 v Lucan, win for Colm, and draws for Tom, Mick and John

BEA Cup North 3.5-1.5 v Balbriggan, win for Brian, Draws for Peter Brendan and Paddy, and Mick got a walk over

Summer Blitz

Well done to Kevin for winning the summer club blitz, closely followed by Valentin and Oisin.

Annual General Meeting 2018

The Club Annual General Meeting takes place next Monday, September 3rd, all members are invited to attend. Prizes from the Club Competitions will be presented on the night.
