The LCU is seeking thoughts from clubs, teams, and players about the leagues resuming, either finishing the 2019-2020 season and starting the new 2021 seasons, and the various living with covid challenges. Contact the secretary Brendan or a committee member to share your thought so the club can issue a response.

So it is little over one year on from the first lockdown and the COVID restrictions and the suspension of our club nights in Clareville community centre on a Monday. Thankfully we have been able to continue in some capacity online with our Chess.com arena games on a Monday night from 7:30-9:30 pm.

Anyone interested in playing should contact Brendan Clare or Tony Mooney.

We shall continue this, we hope when the situation changes to reopen in the autumn.
